Why didn't Hitler jail other pacifist religions?
by jwfacts inthe watchtower still proudly highlights that they were the only religion sent to concentration camps, due to their neutral war stance.
however there are many other religions that are neutral or pacificts and so must have disobeyed hitlers request for them to join his ss.
so what is the real reason jws were put into concentration camps?

by RichieRich inwell, it's cold in alaska.. i'm on a billion dollar boat with a dial up internet connection, and a, well, boat load of asians.. god, those people photograph everything.
i took my shoes off in the gym, and i had like sixteen little asian girls looking at them.
oh, the stories i could tell..... the funniest thing is watching my grandfather communicate with the foreign staff.

I'd just send a brief note back saying something like "Whilst I do not agree with your decision to cut us off I will respect your decision. You have my word neither your father or myself will ever contact you again."
Keep it short and to the point, don't waffle and don't turn it into an I'm right you're wrong argument, dubs will just turn off to that.
Put the ball firmly in their court, lay the guilt on their heads and point out the consequences of their actions. Let them live with the guilt that they were the ones that cut you off.

I cant stand the smell of Garlic, it literally makes me want to vomit. I had done something to my girlfriend, i cant remember what but she was chasing me around the house trying to hit me. I ran into the bathroom and locked the door, laughing my head off while she banged on the door trying to get in to get me. Things went quiet for a few minutes then I heard her coming back, She slid a sheet of paper under the door with what looked like dog vomit on. I started to call her a dirty cow for putting dog vomit onto paper and putting it under the door. Then the smell hit me. She'd gone downstairs to the kitchen and put crushed garlic on a bit of paper that she had put under the door to get me out. I bolted out that room, gagging and choking with her laughing her head off while i ran to the other bathroom.
I loathe Garlic.

Summer Solstice - 2006

even more so tonight which some already know is the longest night and the pagan celebration of summer solstice.

Do you know of any JW's that was DF/DA for going to the military?
by booker-t ini think that i only know of 1 guy that i grew up with that was da'd for going to the army.
is this an isolated case or is it a common problem among young jw's men and women going to the military and being df or da?

I was going to go into the Navy. Stupidly I told someone and the elders got to me the night before my interview. I got a lecture on Christian neutrality and blood guilt and a warning I would be DF'd if I went through with it.
In the end they talked me out of it.. Looking back I wish I'd have gone.

Nice bit of reporting. No mention of a police presence though. In the past the police have been criticised for being heavy handed at such occasions. I was surprised the crowds were allowed inside the stone circle too. If I'm still in England next year I'm going !
